A lesser demon fucks up and gets locked out of hell due to a bureaucratic error, far away from the succubus he loves.
Unable to endure the loss of his belle, as well as the bitter cold of a NYC winter, he escapes to the Southwest. There, he hopes to return home by means of a pyschotropic ritual involving the consumption of vast quantities of mescaline.
